Kevan Gielty, President and CEO
Kevan joined Coast in 1988 and was appointed President and CEO in January 2002. Kevan holds a FCIP designation and is a former president of the Marine Insurance Association of British Columbia and a former chairman of the International Union of Marine Insurance Cargo Committee.
Dean Geros, Vice President
Dean joined Coast in January 2003 assuming the roles of Vice President and Director. Along with over 20 years of industry experience, he holds a B.Comm from the University of British Columbia and a M.Pl. from Queen’s University. Dean is a former president of the Marine Insurance Association of British Columbia.
Paul Keelan, Chief Financial Officer
Paul was appointed Chief Financial Officer in June 2011. Prior to joining Coast, Paul worked for PwC in its consulting and audit practices. He holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University, a B. Comm from the University of British Columbia and a Chartered Accountant designation.
Thomas McGinn, Director of Ontario Operations
Tom joined Coast in July 2013 as Director of Ontario Operations. Prior to joining Coast, Tom was president of a leading subrogation service provider in Canada, specializing in marine recoveries. Tom has also held leadership positions in a number of industries throughout his career, including the manufacturing, distribution and service sectors.
Ted Nicolopoulos, Director of Quebec Operations
Ted joined Coast in August 2012 as Director of Quebec Operations. He joined Coast from BFL Canada Risk and Insurance Inc. where he held the position of Vice President-Client Executive in the Marine & Aviation Department from 2002 to 2012. Ted holds an MBA degree from Heriot-Watt University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree–Economics from McGill University and a FCIP designation.
Mark McNeil, Director of Atlantic Operations
Mark was appointed Director of Atlantic Operations in December 2011. Prior to joining Coast, Mark worked for RSA in their National Training Program. Mark has previously worked in Coast’s Toronto, Vancouver, & Halifax offices as a Commercial Underwriter and Underwriting Manager. He has a bachelor’s degree from St. Francis Xavier University and a Certificate in Leadership Development from Dalhousie University.
